Governor Brian Kemp (R-GA) today announced that Italian tire manufacturer Pirelli is investing $1.2 billion into expanding its North American headquarters in Rome, Georgia. Following the expansion, Pirelli expects its facility to be a full operations in 2033.
How will Pirelli’s facility be expanded? The company plans to expand the factory in two phases: first adding latest-generation robotics equipment, followed by the addition of a traditional manufacturing process which will require more hiring.
