Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) held a major campaign rally in Savannah, Georgia, over the weekend and faced fierce criticism from his Republican opponents, including the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC).
What was this rally for? The Senator is mobilizing support ahead of November’s general election, in which he will face off against Representative Mike Collins (R-GA), who handily won his recent runoff election.

Context: While delivering remarks, Sen. Ossoff went on the offensive against Rep. Collins and is beginning to frame him as the "puppet" candidate. Because of this, the Senator regards his Republican opponent as nothing more than a mouthpiece for the President.
The NRSC didn’t take this lightly and thoroughly criticized Ossoff for his congressional record. They also took a similar strategy by framing him as useful for "liberal billionaires" who don’t even reside in the State of Georgia.
