Governor Brian Kemp (R-GA) announced today that Yancey Engineered Solutions will invest $5.7 million in a new manufacturing facility in Cordele, creating 300 new jobs over the next several years in Crisp County.

Yancey’s new facility will be located at 502 South Midway Road in Cordele. The company will refurbish the former Big Tex manufacturing facility and advertise opportunities for new jobs. They plan to hire welders, quality control technicians, assembly workers, and drivers.
Headquartered in Austell, Yancey Bros. Co. is recognized as the nation’s oldest Caterpillar dealer, celebrating its Centennial anniversary in 2014.
