As early voting kicks off across Georgia, a statewide poll from InsiderAdvantage confirms that Republican candidate John F. Kennedy enters the final stretch of the Republican primary for Lieutenant Governor with a strong lead.

Kennedy leads the field of Republican candidates with 32%, more than doubling his nearest competitor and leading by approximately 18 points.

State Senator Greg Dolezal (R-27) comes in second with 14 points, and State Senator Blake Tillery (R-19) follows up with 12. The results show strong support for Kennedy across the board, with voters of all backgrounds and age groups backing his campaign.

Kennedy's Momentum

Kennedy took this development as a sign that Georgians are looking for someone they can trust. According to him, it all comes down to what the candidate has accomplished, rather than what they have promised.

Kennedy pledged to maintain Georgia’s momentum as Lt. Governor and urged every Republican to join him at the polls.

“As Georgians begin heading to the polls, the message is clear: voters want conservative leadership that actually gets things done,” said Kennedy. “I’ve spent my career fighting for hardworking Georgians – cutting taxes, creating good-paying jobs, championing tort reform, and keeping our communities safe.”

He continued, “As Lieutenant Governor, I will continue that fight every single day to keep Georgia growing, keep Georgia learning, and keep Georgia safe. I’m asking every Republican in Georgia to join us and make a plan to vote early or on Election Day, May 19th.”

As a lifelong Georgian from the small town of Adrian, Kennedy served 11 years in the Georgia State Senate and 3 years as President Pro Tempore.

During his time in office, he worked alongside Governor Brian Kemp (R-GA) to pass tort reform, sponsor legislation combating chronic absenteeism in Georgia’s schools, cut taxes, expand school choice, and support law enforcement.
