Rick Jackson, the Republican nominee for Governor of Georgia, will close out the campaign with a statewide Get-Out-The-Vote tour today, November 2, with stops in Canton, Perry, Albany, Savannah, and Augusta.

On Election Night, Tuesday, November 3, Rick Jackson will join supporters in Sandy Springs, as previously advertised.

What Rick Jackson had to say on his final campaign push:

  • Via his Official X: “We aren’t done making Georgia more affordable. We aren’t done making our neighborhoods safer, and we aren’t done opening doors for the next generation. But only if you VOTE TOMORROW, and make sure 10 of your friends do the same.
  • “So here’s what I’m asking for: One more conversation. One more phone call. One more person who gets to the polls because you didn't assume somebody else would ask. That's how we finish this campaign, and that's how we win big for Georgia.”

How close is this race going to be? The polling for this race is extremely close, with neither candidate able to claim a definitive lead. Real Clear Polling gives the lead to Jackson by only one point with 48.3% and Keisha Lance Bottoms following up with 47.3%.

Fifty Plus One Average has the race measured with an even tighter margin. They have Bottoms ahead with 0.1%, leading Jackson 48.1% to 48%.

Numbers from State Navigate have the race looking less competitive with Bottoms leading 50% to Jackson’s 47%. Regardless of who the polls have leading this race, the outcome suggests an extremely tight competition.

What do the prediction markets have to say about this race? Kalshi users don’t see this race as very competitive at all, and are giving Bottoms a 68% chance to win. Polymarket users are in agreement, giving Bottoms a 70% chance of winning.

The prediction markets and the polls are in open disagreement but likely because they aren’t measuring the same thing. It’s important to keep in mind that polling numbers are more likely to reflect the competitive reality of this race than financially based platforms.
