Keisha Lance Bottoms Conceals Client List and Attacks Rick Jackson for Data Center Investment

Bottoms' new attacks may not be as effective as they might seem.

Yesterday, Keisha Lance Bottoms, after calling on all gubernatorial candidates to disclose their income sources, declined to provide the list of clients who have paid her firm up to $1 million since leaving the Biden administration.

This took place at a press conference, during which Bottoms also attacked Rick Jackson over a Texas investment he publicly acknowledged months ago and disclosed in his state financial filing.

What are the details surrounding Keisha Lance Bottoms’ finances? Bottoms' April personal financial disclosure lists her consulting firm, KRLB, LLC, as her primary income source in both 2024 and 2025.

The filing reports between $250,000 and $500,000 in income from KRLB in each year. Her disclosure also shows up to $250,000 in KRLB income in 2022 and up to $100,000 in 2023, the years she served as a senior adviser to President Joe Biden.

The filing reports the money, but doesn’t report who paid it. Neither has Bottoms.

When asked whether she would disclose her client list, Bottoms said her LLC is “private” and wouldn’t disclose that information unless Jackson disclosed his investments. Ironically, Jackson has already done this.

What about the data center attack? Despite attacking Jackson for investing in data centers, Bottoms is responsible for a major investment herself.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that in 2018, Bottoms chaired the Invest Atlanta board when it unanimously revived authorization for up to $440 million in bonds tied to a data center inside the Coda complex at Georgia Tech's Technology Square.

She chaired the board again when it approved the financing in 2019, and the project received a 15-year property tax abatement.

How did the Rick Jackson Campaign respond? Jackson’s campaign spokesman, Garrison Douglas, issued scathing criticism of Bottoms and called on her to cease with the attacks and come clean. He stated:

  • “Keisha Lance Bottoms is the definition of a two-faced, double-talking politician. She supported data centers in office but attacks them on the campaign trail. She demands Rick disclose what is already public while hiding who paid her up to $1 million. It’s time for Keisha to come clean.”
