Authority Brands, the parent company for several home service business franchises across the country, is establishing its new headquarters in Cobb County, Georgia, according to a press release from Governor Brian Kemp's office.
The move is expected to create up to 390 new jobs and $13 million in investments over the next several years.
“We’re proud that Authority Brands has chosen to relocate to the No. 1 state for business, where our pro-jobs approach and strong workforce help companies succeed,” Gov. Kemp said in the press release.
The 48,000-square-foot Franchisee Success Center at 200 Galleria Parkway, Cobb County, will house jobs in operations, information technology, finance and marketing to assist the company's "15 brands operating in more than 2,700 territories," according to the press release. "The company’s portfolio spans essential residential services, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool, house cleaning, lawn care, pest control, in-home caregivers, and junk removal."

Authority Brands is the parent company to businesses like Monster Tree Service and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, among others.

Katie Kirkpatrick, the Metro Atlanta Chamber CEO and president, shared similar sentiments in the press release.
