The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a new digital ad today accusing Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) of continuing to put criminal illegals above Georgians.
Republicans have criticized Sen. Ossoff, warning that he refused to commit to the Laken Riley Act and that he has consistently voted against President Trump's tough-on-crime immigration policies.
Most recently, Sen. Ossoff voted against a resolution concerning the Department of Homeland Security and its ability to enhance border security, deport criminal illegals, and bolster law enforcement.
The new digital ad's narration lambasts Sen. Ossoff for working with Former President Joe Biden, accusing him of crippling border security. "Ossoff and the Democrats work to protect criminal illegals in the Senate, and Georgians pay the price,” the ad accuses.

NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia issued a statement alongside the digital ad, offering nothing but scathing criticism of the Democratic senator.
According to him, Sen. Ossoff is partially responsible for the murder of Laken Riley, and Georgians will continue to pay the price of his policy decisions.
"Laken Riley’s murder is the direct result of Jon Ossoff and Kamala Harris' open-border policies. While Ossoff works with the radical left in D.C. to dismantle President Trump’s border security, Georgians are paying the price at home for Ossoff’s decision to put criminal illegals first,” said Puglia.
The NRSC has a history of targeting Sen. Ossoff for his congressional voting record, accusing him of failing to address important concerns. The NRSC recently accused the Senator of failing to issue a condemnation of the third assassination attempt on President Trump.
Secretary Puglia commented on the issue, stating, "Jon Ossoff's reckless political rhetoric against President Trump is dangerous and it must stop. Defunding DHS and refusing to condemn this left-wing assassination attempt on President Trump and his administration further proves Ossoff is beholden to the radical left."
