A shooting occurred this week at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility in Dallas, Texas. The shooter, identified as a man named Joshua Jahn, killed three people, including himself and two ICE detainees.

The shooter made his attempt from a nearby rooftop and took his own life as agents approached him. The motive is not exact at this moment, but the shooting was politically motivated, as indicated by bullets that were found with political messages written on them.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem commented on the shooting, highlighting the heinous nature of violence perpetrated against law enforcement.

Georgia lawmakers have responded to this incident on X, denouncing political violence and calling for prayers for the victims and their families.

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) commented on the incident and questioned whether the shooter was affiliated with Antifa or acted as a lone wolf for his own reasons.

Rep. Buddy Carter (R) expressed his horror at the situation and called for an end to violence against ICE agents.

Rep. Mike Collins (R) expressed a similar sentiment, openly praying for the victims and thanking law enforcement for putting themselves in harm’s way.
