Senator-elect Jason Dickerson (R) is a new Georgia State Senator who was recently elected to represent District 21, taking the place of Senator Brandon Beach (R), who was appointed to the U.S. Treasury.

Dickerson won according to the unofficial results with 61% of the vote and will go on to represent Cherokee and North Fulton County. He has no political background but is known for acting as the President of a private investment firm. Georgia Republicans rallied around the candidate, and turnout for the runoff election cleared 10,000 people.

Dickerson celebrated the election result, expressing that “conservatives in District 21 sent a strong message: woke liberal ideology has no place here." As an elected official, he now looks "forward to taking office and fulfilling their mandate to champion the America First values that make us the greatest state to live, work, and raise a family.”

Georgia Republicans joined Dickerson in celebration, congratulating him for his victory on X.

Governor Brian Kemp (R) congratulated Dickerson on social media, expressing that he looks forward to working with him.

Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones (R) echoed Kemp's remarks, adding that he believes that Dickerson can make a real difference.

Attorney General Chris Carr (R) shared that he believes Dickerson will help keep GA on the right track.

Finally, Senate Majority Leader Jason Anavitarte (R) congratulated Dickerson for disappointing ‘out-of-touch’ Democrats who were desperate to flip the seat.
