President Donald Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) on July 4, 2025, marking the culmination of his economic agenda and the conclusion to House Republican campaigning. Republicans also celebrated the passage of the bill by the House of Representatives, describing it as one of the most significant pieces of legislation passed by conservatives.

Georgia Republicans from the state and federal levels rallied in celebration of the OBBB on X. Those from the House expressed relief after working to pass the bill for months.

Those from the state level expressed their admiration for the President sticking to his agenda and carrying out his campaign promises.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) praised the OBBB for its focus on national security and improving conditions for the middle class. She praised the bill as the fulfillment of President Trump’s America First agenda.

“This bill is a win for American families, a win for our economy, and a win for our national security,” Rep. Greene stated. “I’ve stood with President Trump since Day One, and I was proud to vote YES and help get this bill over the finish line.”

Rep. Rick McCormick (R) concurred with Rep. Greene by calling the OBBB a ‘significant step forward.’ He also praised House Republicans for working tirelessly to get the bill to President Trump’s desk.

“Realize this is just the start, and we have a massive debt problem to tackle,” Rep. McCormick concluded. “That said, the President is determined to work with us to take on this challenge head-on for a better future for our children.”

Gov. Brian Kemp (R) weighed in by declaring the passage of the OBBB to be a victory for hardworking Georgians. He highlighted the bill’s provisions on tax cuts, energy, and national security while praising Republican leadership.

Gov. Kemp commented, “Great work by President Trump, Leader Thune, Speaker Johnson, and our Republican majorities!”

Finally, Lt. Gov. Burt Jones (R) concurred with Gov. Kemp by highlighting the same provisions concerned with tax relief and border security. Lt. Gov. Jones commented, “President Trump is delivering AGAIN for hardworking Georgians with the passage of the Big Beautiful Bill—bringing real tax relief and strong border security measures we need now more than ever.”
