The MAGA movement is divided over whether to assist Israel in its conflict with Iran. One side believes that the U.S. must assist its ally against Iran. The other side claims that the U.S. has no reason to involve itself and gains nothing from it. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) has come out with a few statements on the matter.

Greene's first statement was quite long as an attempt to encompass the big picture. One of Greene’s primary concerns is that the U.S. will be dragged into another ceaseless conflict. She argues that America still has not gotten over all of the trauma associated with its recent wars in the Middle East.

Greene is far more concerned with addressing the issues that face the U.S. at home. She specifically mentions the $36 trillion of debt and the southern border.

Greene goes on to state, “Anyone slobbering for the U.S. to become fully involved in the Israel/Iran war is not America First/MAGA.” She concludes by asserting that her position is not isolationist, but rational.

This is in stark contrast to Senator Ted Cruz (R). Cruz was recently featured in an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, where they discussed the conflict.

Cruz upheld his position that the U.S. should assist Israel in taking out Iran’s nuclear capabilities. He commented on X, “Israel is acting with President Trump’s support to take out Iran’s nuclear weapons program. That’s an enormous favor to America, and one that makes us safer.”

Carlson received criticism for his views, and Greene came to his defense. She said he was one of her favorite people and that he was committed to the America First agenda.

Greene stated, “And foreign wars/intervention/regime change put America last, kill innocent people, are making us broke, and will ultimately lead to our destruction.”

Greene came out stronger with a statement describing those who want the U.S involved in foreign conflicts as ‘neocon warmongers.’ She added that they were completely unconcerned about issues facing the homeland.
