Georgia Republicans have expressed their outrage at the LA riots. They have called for order to be restored and for mass deportations to continue.

The riots in LA began as a response to ICE raids that targeted those with criminal histories. Dozens of people were taken into custody from multiple locations across the city.

The riots have escalated in their intensity, and the Trump administration has responded in kind. 700 marines and over 2,000 National Guardsmen were deployed to restore order.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) called for even more National Guardsmen to be deployed. She compared the situation to the riot on January 6th, 2021, where 30,000 troops were summoned.

Greene commented, “Foreign nationals and communists anarchists have declared war on our government and are violently attacking, burning, and rioting in one of the largest cities in America. Send in MORE troops!!!”

Rep. Rick McCormick (R) blamed LA’s sanctuary city policies for the anarchy. He commented, “On a more serious note, the chaos happening in LA is outrageous, and it’s the direct result of failed far-left policies. Sanctuary city nonsense has turned into full-blown lawlessness. It’s time to restore order and hold leaders accountable.”

Rep. Andrew Clyde (R) concurred with this sentiment and blamed the radical left for inciting anarchy.

Clyde also pushed for mass deportations. He commented, “Newsflash, Democrats: Residing in the United States of America illegally is a CRIME. EVERY illegal alien is a criminal. President Trump has the authority to deport them ALL.”

Rep. Mike Collins (R) went a step further and declared the riots to be an insurrection. He went on to state, “There is no higher priority than getting the people who shouldn't be in our country out of our country. Everything else, secondary.”

Finally, Rep. Buddy Carter (R) is set to make a point in Congress about the issue. He plans on introducing a resolution to condemn the riots.

Carter commented, “To those who harm law enforcement officers, destroy our cities, and obstruct our brave National Guardsmen: You have no place here.”
