Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) has been making the rounds in Georgia holding town halls. Senator Raphael Warnock (D) has also been engaging with Georgians by holding rallies and visiting state parks.ย

To start, the Senator first visited Warm Springs and Franklin Delano Rooseveltโ€™s little White House. He went there to speak at an event commemorating the President.

Warnock had this to say after his visit, โ€œIโ€™m taking the spirit of Warm Springs back with me to Washington with a determination to build on FDRโ€™s unfinished legacy.โ€

After this Warnock attended a rally at the Center for Disease Control (CDC). The rally protested the mass firing of staff as a result of DOGE cuts.ย

Warnock commented, โ€œIโ€™m headed to rally at the CDC for the Georgians who were recklessly and unjustly fired by the President. These folks arenโ€™t the enemy. Theyโ€™re working to keep us healthy and safe from disease. I wonโ€™t stop fighting for you in Washington.

Next, Representative Green started her tour in Georgia by stopping in Cobb county to host a town hall. The town hall was meant to be an event entirely focused on Greene engaging with her constituents.ย

Greene commented, โ€œTo my constituents who have registered and are planning to attend this evening, regardless of your political party, Iโ€™m excited to see you and answer your questions. To the paid Democrat protestors planning to show up from across the country tonight, stay outside.โ€

However, one Democrat protestor did actually show up to disrupt the event. The protestor repeatedly shouted โ€œFree Kilmar,โ€ in reference to the ongoing deportation controversy.

Greene had this to say on X, โ€œDemocrat Americans like this man are lied to everyday by their party and the media. Now Democrats are the party of the cartels and terrorists.โ€ย

Finally, Greene made her way to Kennesaw to sit down and talk with the mayor. Greene made it a priority to visit as the city has recently been made a part of her district.ย

Greene commented on X, โ€œIt was a pleasure to meet with Mayor Easterling in Kennesaw! He took my team and I on a tour of the city, showing us Kennesawโ€™s history and growth over the years.โ€
