Gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson, who's campaign emphasizes his status as anything but a career politician, touted his $1 million donation to President Donald Trump in a new campaign ad.
"I sent President Trump's political organization $1 million because he doesn't play by the cartel's rules," Jackson wrote in a social media post featuring the ad. "He wins over and over."

"I sent them all a ton of cash, politicians good and bad, but the only thing they delivered is more bulls***t," he said in the ad.
In an April 8 X post he expressed similar sentiments about his outsider status being an asset.

In the post, he pledged to "take on the bureaucrats, the media, and the rest of the political cartel."
