At the beginning of Georgia's gubernatorial race, current Lt. Gov. Burt Jones was the favorite for the Republican Party's nomination, but a new poll shows that voters could be siding with Rick Jackson.
Lt. Governor Jones received Trump's endorsement for Georgia's commander in August. However, a new poll conducted by JMC Analytics and Polling on March 7 and 8, suggests he may no longer be a shoo-in for the Republican nomination.

Rick Jackson, who has branded himself as a political outsider during his campaign, is ahead in the race with only 25% of voters undecided, according to the poll.
In a recent X post, formerly known as Twitter, Jackson promoted his political outsider status.
This weekend, I heard from folks who are worried about the cost of living, protecting kids from indoctrination, and making sure the law is enforced.
They know the political cartel is protecting itself, not fighting for them.

Jackson held 37% of voters during the survey period, compared to the 22% held by Jones.
