Over the weekend, and by order of President Donald Trump, the U.S. military launched a strike against Venezuela, bombing several of its states and capturing its President, Nicolas Maduro. The strike comes after months of escalating tension involving attacks on drug boats and a focus on growing narcoterrorism from Venezuela.
The strike has received mixed reactions from lawmakers, with many casting doubt on its legitimacy while others applaud it for being unapologetically "America First." Georgia congressional Republicans, however, strongly favor the move, offering their support and congratulations on X.
