Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) continues to break rank with the Republican Party’s expectations after making back-to-back appearances on CNN and The View to make her positions clear regarding her recent public disagreements with the GOP.
While on The View, Greene discussed her working-class background and her initial motivation to run for office. To her, it’s always been about her dissatisfaction with the Republican and Democratic parties.
I come from a working-class family. We ran a construction company for over 20 years, and I’ve seen firsthand how government failure crushes hardworking Americans.
Both parties are to blame.
Republicans and Democrats have let the American people down for DECADES.

Greene also took the opportunity to discuss healthcare and her position on the need to replace the Affordable Care Act. She explained how it has negatively impacted health insurance, but that Republicans had failed to put together a new proposal.

On her first CNN appearance, Greene reacted to the GOP’s recent election losses and proposed that Republican voters didn’t turn out because they had not been properly served.
I’m unapologetically America First! 🇺🇸
If you say you’re serving the American people, you better mean it! It’s like running a restaurant, if you advertise one thing on the menu but serve something completely different, your customers won’t come back.

On her second CNN appearance, Greene clarified that she has been holding both parties accountable since she was elected. From her perspective, she’s not breaking from the party. She’s just trying to force some kind of positive change.
I haven’t changed one bit since I ran in 2020.
I ran on holding both parties accountable and that’s exactly what I’m doing!!
Washington has failed the American people on both sides of the aisle. Our government is broken and our voters are tired of empty promises.
