The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a new digital slamming Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA), accusing him of fighting to give illegal aliens free healthcare over feeding Georgia families. Republicans argue that the Senator has voted 13 times to keep the government shut down, and now over 1.3 million Georgians and over 500,000 kids who rely on SNAP assistance are at risk of going hungry.
Ossoff is accused of fundraising off the shutdown and raking in out-of-state money from far-left states like California. The ad specifically targets the Georgia Senator and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for shutting down the federal government. The ad points out how military service members, federal law enforcement, and people in need have been stranded without critical resources.
The ad concludes by urging voters to make their grievances known to Ossoff and his Senate colleagues. Specifically, they should be told not to prioritize illegal immigrants over their constituents.
NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia had a lot to say about the Georgia Senator and his voting record, claiming that he is to blame for the 500,000 children at risk of food insecurity.
"Over 500,000 kids in Georgia will go hungry this week because Jon Ossoff is hellbent on giving free healthcare to illegal aliens and opposing President Trump,” Puglia stated. “While Georgia kids' stomachs are empty over the Halloween weekend, Ossoff will continue filling up on California cash and fundraising off of his government shutdown."
"It's past time for Jon Ossoff to stop pandering to his far-left base in California and vote to reopen the federal government," Puglia added. "Ossoff has had 13 opportunities to end the chaos, but he cares more about giving free healthcare to illegals and opposing President Trump."
Jon Ossoff shut down the government with Chuck Schumer — and Georgians are scared.
He's pushing free healthcare for illegals while our troops, law enforcement, and needy families are left stranded.
