Georgia Republicans Praise Trump’s Peace Deal Between Israel and Hamas

President Donald Trump is treading new ground with this peace deal, and GA Republicans have taken notice.

President Donald Trump (R) recently finalized the first phase of his peace deal between the state of Israel and the terror group, Hamas. The fighting in Gaza is expected to pause, and all Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners are expected to be released.

This peace deal is a landmark achievement for President Trump’s foreign policy, and he is expected to travel to Egypt for the official signing. Georgia Republican lawmakers from the state and federal levels have lauded this peace deal as a serious attempt to create peace in the Middle East.

Representative Rich McCormick (R) commended President Trump for his strength and expressed hope for a lasting peace in the region.

Rep. Buddy Carter (R) went further, stating that the President is deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize for this effort.

Governor Brian Kemp (R) called the announcement ‘historic news’ for the world and commended the leadership of the Trump administration.

Finally, Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones (R) also called the announcement ‘historic’ and called for people to continue praying for the hostages until they are released.
