Georgia Senator Jason Anavitarte (R) has endorsed Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones (R) for Governor of Georgia in 2026. Anavitarte praised Jones as the common-sense conservative leader that Georgia needs.
The Georgia Senate Majority Leader expressed pride in joining the likes of President Donald Trump (R) to support Jones and his mission to put Georgian families first. He fully expects Jones to reignite the American Dream in Georgia by enhancing the state’s workforce and removing its burdens.
The Lieutenant Governor expressed appreciation for Anavitarte’s endorsement on X and looks forward to working with him as Governor. Anavitarte is the latest in a massive collection of endorsements that includes senators, representatives, and even local sheriffs.
Jones commented on all of these endorsements, stating that “their endorsement sends a clear message: we are united in our mission to keep Georgia safe, defend our values, and put our communities first. Together, we’re building a movement to deliver real results for Georgia families, and we’re just getting started.”
