Georgia Republicans Celebrate the Arrest of Charlie Kirk’s Assassin

FBI Director Kash Patel and Utah Governor Spencer Cox (R) announced today that the primary suspect in Charlie Kirk’s assassination has been arrested. He was identified as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson and was reportedly becoming increasingly concerned with politics. 

Georgia Republicans took to social media to celebrate Robinson’s arrest and congratulate law enforcement for working so tirelessly.

Representative Mike Collins (R) shared his thoughts, thanking law enforcement for their swift action against one of the most evil perpetrators in American history. 

Rep. Buddy Carter (R) expressed the same gratitude and continued to call for people to pray for Kirk's family.

Rep. Rich McCormick (R) remarked on the tragedy of the situation, expressing faith that justice would be served.

Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones (R) expressed his grief over the death of Kirk but took solace in the fact that justice is being served.

Attorney General Chris Carr (R) also thanked law enforcement for swiftly apprehending the suspect, personally praising Patel and Cox for their leadership.
