As a conservative activist fighting for America’s strength and sovereignty, I see Georgia standing tall as a guardian of our nation’s digital future. Data centers are not just tech hubs; they are digital Fort Knoxes safeguarding America’s data from China’s prying eyes and ensuring our national security. While the left pushes for globalism and open borders, Georgia is ready to lead the charge and execute President Trump’s vision for a secure, prosperous, and American-led digital frontier.
Data centers are the beating heart of our digital world. Every click, search, or AI breakthrough relies on these facilities to store and protect our data. With an average of 21 connected devices per household in the U.S. and 5.5 billion people currently online, that is a goldmine of information China’s Communist Party would love to exploit. From military logistics to financial records and personal data about our kids and grandkids, data centers are critical to keeping America’s secrets safe and our economy roaring.
China’s aggressive push for digital dominance threatens our national security. The Chinese Communist Party uses companies like Huawei to infiltrate global networks, stealing data and undermining freedom. In 2023, Chinese hackers breached U.S. government systems, exposing sensitive information. Data centers in the U.S., especially in Georgia, are our first line of defense. By keeping data on American soil, we block China’s access and protect our military, businesses, and families from foreign espionage.
President Trump has been right all along—America must control its own digital destiny. Since taking office, President Trump has sent a clear message on AI that continued U.S. leadership is critical. And the stakes couldn’t be higher. If we let China control the digital battlefield, we risk everything: our privacy, our economy, and our freedom. Georgia’s data centers are a declaration that America will not bow to Beijing.
Georgia is ready to be America’s digital stronghold. With data center construction and operation in full swing across the state, we’re already a powerhouse. Tech giants are investing billions here, and for good reason.
Georgia’s pro-business grit sets us apart. Our low taxes, common-sense regulations, and cheap electricity make us a magnet for investment. Georgia is open for business and ready to fight for American jobs. Unlike liberal states that coddle foreign interests, Georgia puts America First.
Our location is a strategic win. Atlanta’s fiber networks connect us to major markets, ensuring fast, secure data flow. Georgia Power’s robust grid, fueled by natural gas, nuclear, and renewables, keeps our data centers running strong. Data center operators are not just building server farms, they are building fortresses to protect America’s digital assets from China’s reach.
Georgia’s workforce is another weapon in our arsenal. With millions of workers, including tech-savvy young people ready to work, and thousands of IT graduates each year, we have the talent to outmatch any competitor. We’re training patriots to defend our data, not outsourcing jobs to foreign adversaries.
Sustainability is part of our strategy. Georgia Power’s plan to add 1,100 megawatts of clean energy by 2035, will ensure we meet demand without compromising our values. We’re building a future that’s strong, secure, and American-made.
Some naysayers whine about data centers’ power and water use, claiming they strain Georgia’s resources. Others gripe about tax incentives. These are distractions from the real threat: China’s bid to control our data.
Data centers deliver big wins with minimal footprint. Each facility creates high-paying jobs while pumping millions in tax revenue into local communities, including our rural counties. In 2023 alone, data centers added $1.8B to the tax base along with new roads, fiber, and jobs. They are not burdening taxpayers, they are building wealth for the middle class.
As conservatives, we stand for strength, independence, and putting America First. Georgia’s data centers are a battleground in the fight against China’s digital aggression. They create jobs, secure our data, and keep our nation strong. That is how we make America great again. We can’t let liberal fearmongering or foreign threats derail us.
Georgians, it’s time to rally. Demand policies that expand our data centers, strengthen our grid, and train our workers. Tell lawmakers to reject anti-growth nonsense and keep Georgia the top destination for tech investment.
We are ready to lead. Let’s show the world that America’s data is best protected in Georgia's hands.
