Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) has clashed with Rep. Mike Lawler (R) and rival Democrats on X. The democrats are Rep. Ilhan Omar (D) and Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D). The issues involve the big, beautiful bill and Greene’s comments on George Floyd's death.

First, Greene’s conflict with Lawler comes from the big, beautiful bill. According to reports, Lawler will not vote for the bill because the state and local tax (SALT) deduction increases from $10,000 to $30,000.

Greene grilled Lawler for this position and accused him of being out of step with the MAGA base. She questioned, “What’s the point in Republicans fighting to protect and keep re-electing 'Republicans' if they constantly undermine the agenda America voted for???”

Lawler responded to the criticism by claiming that Greene has no clue what she’s talking about. Lawler went on to state, “By the way, the reason you enjoy a gavel is because Republicans like me have won our seats. Good luck being in the Majority if we don’t.”

Greene flatly rejected this claim. She responded, “Did you all vote for Mike Lawler and his agenda??? Or did America vote for President Trump and his MAGA America First agenda?”

Second, Greene’s conflict with rival democrats started with a recent comment on George Floyd’s death. Greene stated, “I strongly support Derek Chauvin being pardoned and released from prison. George Floyd died of a drug overdose.”

Crockett was the first to respond with sharp criticism. She denied Greene’s claims and reiterated that Floyd died from asphyxiation.

Greene responded to this by bringing the focus of the conversation to immigration. She said that Floyd died from a fentanyl overdose, like so many other Americans, as a result of the open border.

Greene concluded, “Jasmine Crockett doesn’t care about Americans killed by drugs like George Floyd, she cares about protecting cartels from being deported.”

Omar labeled Greene’s initial comment as ‘vile’ and flatly rejected the claim. She likened Floyd’s death to a modern-day lynching.

Greene responded by calling out Omar for her controversial marriage. She stated, “Ilhan, you know what’s vile? Having sex with and marrying your brother!!!”

Marjorie Taylor Greene has always made it a point to openly clash with her political opponents. Her style of openly clashing with rivals has been consistent through the years.
