President Trump’s current term has just recently reached the 100 day mark. With this milestone, many lawmakers have given their thoughts on how successful the current administration has been. Many comparisons have also been made to the previous administration.

Republicans have largely come out celebrating the first 100 days. Georgia Republicans especially have made their support known.

When celebrating this milestone, they appeal to improvements made on key issues. Immigration, trade, and foreign policy are all lauded as marked improvements.

First, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene made her first comment by citing immigration statistics. She pointed out that since Trump took office, border crossings have gone down by 95%.

Greene stated, “In just 100 days, border crossings are down 95%! President Trump has done more in this short time frame than Biden did in his whole term. I voted for this!”

She continued by stating how public safety overall has drastically continued. Greene commented, “Our nation is safer, common sense has been restored, and America is being put first!”

Second, Rep. Mike Collins celebrated by claiming that this has been the most consequential start to a presidency in American history.

Collins stated, “This has been the most consequential first 100 days in any American presidency. The border crisis is solved. Domestic manufacturing is back. America is respected again. DEI is dead. 100 down and 1362 to go.”

Third, Rep. Buddy Carter commented on the first 100 days by highlighting success in trade and economics.

Carter stated, “In (the President’s) first 100 days, he has already: Saved EVERY American Taxpayer $994 by cutting waste, fraud, and abuse. Shut down our border and secured help from Canada and Mexico. Addressed unfair trade practices through America First tariffs. The best is yet to come!”

Finally, Rep. Andrew Clyde expressed support by calling the first 100 days the beginning of a golden age. He went on to list a number of statistical improvements made within the time period.

Clyde stated, “First 100 days in America’s Golden Age: Created 345,000 jobs, Gas prices are DOWN 7%, Energy costs are dropping, Leading 75+ fair trade deals, Issued 20+ deregulatory actions, Prescription drug prices are falling, Secured $5+ trillion in investments.”
