Kemp Signs Amended Fiscal Budget

Governor Brian Kemp (R-GA) has signed the Amended Fiscal Year 2025 (AFY25) Budget into effect. He made remarks following his signature hitting the paper.

Gov. Kemp mentioned that compared to other states, Georgia is experiencing financial prosperity while diminishing taxes for its residents, while other states are facing debt and higher taxes.

Trump Designates Houthis as Terrorists, Imposes Further Sanctions

President Donald Trump recently ordered the re-designation of Ansarallah, also known as the Houthis, as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO).

The re-designation reverses former President Joe Biden’s decision to remove the Houthis’ FTO status, originally set during President Trump’s first term.
