Ossoff, Warnock, Scott Introduce Bill to Establish Georgia's First National Park
Senators Jon Ossoff (D-GA), Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA), Representatives Austin Scott (R-GA), and Sanford Bishop (D-GA) have introduced legislation to establish Georgia's first national park and preserve. The bill, known as the Ocmulgee Mounds National Park and Preserve Establishment Act, would federally protect the area in Macon, Georgia.
According to Sen. Ossoff, the lands are a part of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation's ancestral homelands with 12,000 years of history tied to the region. With the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources giving this bill the green light a few months ago, the Georgia senator believes this bill is on the right track.

Senate Democrats Slam Trump Administration For Chat Leak 'Pete Hegseth Must be Fired'

Top Republicans have come to the administration's defense explaining how no classified information was actually leaked. Notably, Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson (R), came to the defense with a positive spin on the situation.
Speaker Johnson stated, “The messages the Atlantic released only prove that America is STRONG again … President Trump’s national security leaders are patriots who collaborate and then act decisively to take out terrorists.”
Senate Democrats, however, have come out strongly against the administration. Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff (D) has strongly criticized the administration in a recent hearing and in interviews.

Women of color already disproportionately lack access to the necessary care they need– this will only worsen that problem. I will keep fighting until every woman has the freedom to make their own medical decisions.
Rep. Mike Collins - Baseball is BACK. God Bless America’s favorite past time. #BravesCountry
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene - Yes sir, Mr. President! We will defund NPR and PBS!! The American people will NOT pay for disgusting Democrat propaganda anymore!!
